This convertible 1965 Jaguar XKE Series 1 E-Type 4.2 Roadster is a wonderful addition to any car enthusiast; with its amazing Carmen red exterior, biscuit interior, and soft comfortable leather-upholstered seats it is a truly a remarkable vehicle. It has the original stereo and wood steering wheel. It has matching numbers and five new matching tires. A four speed manual transmission, 4.2 litre V6 and only 31,550 miles, disc brakes, and independent rear suspension with torsion bar on the front ends. It has original California black license plate with only two owners from San Diego. The car was purchased new in England from a doctor in San Diego it had a complete engine overhaul at 25,000 miles. In the mid 80’s the doctor passed away and then was purchased by the second owner and then bought by Classic Showcase. The car has been very well maintained and kept original, Classic Showcase completely rebuilt the rear-end, differential, axel shafts, bearing seals, etc. The car has an auxiliary fan and it has stainless steel exhaust system.
