Ebay item 8/27/15
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-XKE-2-2-COUPE-IN-STRIKING-LIGHT-BLUE-COLOR-/38137 ...
Current bid US $30,000.00
Reserve not met 1 bid 6 days left in auction, buy it now price $42,500. 23k miles.

Sellers description:
West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional and completely rust free example of this rare long time California owner 1970 Jaguar XKE E-Type Series II 2+2 coupe with it's original 6 cylinder 4.2L/246HP engine!

The car is a mostly all original survivor which has obviously always been garaged since new in its rare (1969-72 only) factory 'Light Blue' color with a gorgeous matching Blue leather interior with desirable original factory options including;

automatic transmission,
chrome wire wheels with new 'Red Line' tires,
tinted glass,
disc brakes,
leather upholstery,
dual exhausts,
windshield washer,
adjustable steering wheel,
back up lights,
tachometer,
clock,
safety belts,
outside mirror,
padded dash
and with its original owners manuals and all recent service receipts!

The car has obviously always been garaged and covered since new. The floor boards, trunk areas and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free and the car has had no history of any accidents and has a very straight body. It's striking 'Light Blue' color paint is in exceptionally fine condition and the car looks extremely impressive and striking with a lovely matching Blue leather interior with the seats, door panels, headliner, dashboard and carpets all in very fine condition with no real noticeable flaws apart from a couple of very minor and typical E-Type nicks on the threshold entry to the drivers seat. The car also has very striking chrome wire wheels including a spare wire wheel and jack still located in the trunk.

The car shows 23K miles on the odometer which we believe may well be original and there is a meticulously kept file of service records and receipts from the vehicle's previous owner! Quite extraordinary and extremely desirable for any serious collector! The car has obviously always been well maintained and from looking at these impressive records it is obvious that at no time was any expense spared on this particular vehicles preventive maintenance. A recent full service confirms as much with everything from wiper blades and battery cables to the car's seals and gaskets having been replaced or repaired.

The original 4.2L 6 cylinder engine purrs smoothly under the hood and the automatic transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears - an absolute pleasure to drive without any of the older Jaguar typical shakes or rattles or hesitations - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day sports car a run for its money!

This is therefore an opportunity to own a great daily driving and mostly all original unrestored and always rust free survivor of a 1970 Jaguar XKE Series II 4.2L 2+2 in exceptionally fine condition throughout, being offered as a great daily driver or collectible for any English classic car lover or Jaguar enthusiast!
