Ebay item 1/4/13
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Jaguar-V12-2-2-/230907707449
Current bid $9,600 reserve not met, 6 bids 8 days left in auction. Buy it now price $18,500. Car now said to be located in Weymouth, Massachusetts.

Sellers description:
Here is an opportunity to get in a V12 for well below market value! This car has been sitting in dry storage for a few years now. I believe it was last on the road in 01' the previous owner was a older gentleman and kept the car in his garage the length of time he owned. Previously i believe the car was from a dry climate because the body is a nice and straight. The paint is presentable but is by no means perfect it could definitely use a good polish and buff job. I have not attempted to start the car so assume it will need mechanical attention. These are easily the best cars to drive out of all of the XKE's.

Car now offered at:

carsonline.bonhams.com/en/listings/jaguar/e-type-s3/05d6db3e-253b-4dd1-a719-6c5c ...

Seller's description:

VIN 1S73178

Odometer 29385

Gearbox manual

Color Signal Red

Trim Biscuit Leather

Left-hand drive

United Kingdom, previously Weymouth, Massachusetts

“ The iconic World famous V12 Jaguar engine propelled the E Type into the 1970s Supercar league. ”

A very nicely restored, ex-US S3 E Type, offered with the benefit of a recent engine rebuild, which, with a little post restoration use and "fettling", could see further value being added to the car. All the hard work and major expenditure has been done!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
