This car was ordered by a very lucky Danish customer from new and was delivered via the dealer Sommer in Copenhagen in December of 1961 only 9 months after the car was first launched, and hence was only the 248th LHD fixed head coupe to have been produced.

Incredibly the car purportedly had the same owner for 43 years before being acquired by a significant Danish Collection in 2016 who then set about having the car restored back into its original period correct colours as you see it today. A great deal of effort was put into returning the car back into the specification the factory had originally created, as with many early cars it had been upgraded along the way.

Since the restoration was completed in 2016 the car has been stored in a climate-controlled building as part of a prominent collection and has been started and moved on a regular basis. Due to this the car remains in outstanding condition still and represents an almost unique opportunity for a Danish customer to acquire an E-Type that was Danish from new.
