Car now offered at:

www.classicdriver.com/en/car/jaguar/e-type-si/1963/973610

Seller's description:

Chassis number 880678

Engine number RA4514-9

On sale now our early and verity original Jaguar E-Type Series 1 3,8litre Roadster with matching numbers.

Production record trace certificate available!

The roadster is fully restored by Jaguar specialist.

Extremely smooth and powerful engine, combined to the time period correct exhausts in stainless steel for the throaty growl of this real manly car.

And- who complained about the Moss-Box? - in contrast to most of the restored E-Types our car offers not only the matching engine from back in the day’s , but also the right gearbox, which is working surprisingly well, totally smooth and provides just the right feeling from the roaring sixties.

Our car offers even the correct Dunlop RS 5-Road Racing-Tyres for safe roadhoalding performance as well as electronic ignition for peace of mind and reliability.

So you already might have noticed: our car is outstanding authentic and meant to be driven, not only for show, so please go out and drive it as we did over the last 15 years.

Body in royal blue with new black hood and hood cover , the lovely aluminum dashboard and original bucket seats in red interior - so same combination as in the famous exhibition in the Louvre, Paris, France.

We made several really extended roadtrips with this reliable and perfectly working E- Roadster.

So: One of the rare opportunities, to get a restored but yet technically original E-Type Roadster with the wild “n” manly 3,8l engine in perfect body and color combination, where you can enjoy the thrill of much better times combined with reliability of modern age standards.

Once you start the engine its simply impossible to withstand the growl and thrill of the original and absolutely time period correct combination of the engine, gearbox and chassis, because we’re running 4 E-Types, but whenever we go out and drive simply for fun, we choose this car with goosebump-guarantee.

Please don’t get us wrong: we love the car, but the car wanna be driven even more.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
