I just found an old registration for a car I once owned. I bought the car in 1990 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. The registration states it entered P.R. in February of 1965. The car was advertised in the newspaper and I answered the ad. It had been abandoned in a chicken coupe in a small town called Juana Diaz. The car was very rough but all matching numbers. I replaced rockers, floors and the trunk. Complete mechanical overhaul and painted it Old English white. I drove it for a few years and shipped it to Atlanta when I moved back to the states. In 1994, a Brit saw it in my driveway and bought it on the spot. His business was buying Jags, Harleys and Juke Boxes for European clients. He shipped it to Belgium where he had a client waiting.

Hi Lofty
This car you previously owned is now in France and again owned by a Brit! You mentioned you painted it Old English White after a mechanical overhaul. Was the car Carmen Red when you bought it originally by any chance?
Thanks
James

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
