I sold title and identification number plate I bought around 1997 in 2003 to a Belgian dealer, who converted a 4,2 litre roadster to a 3,8 litre one (the car was in deed a 3,8 roadster but was registered as 4,2).

Thinking about this makes me sad as I should have kept it. Nevertheless I needed the money for my other purchases.

I can lookup body, engine, gearbox number as I still have copies of title and number plate.

It would be good if you could add those other numbers. The more data the better, especially as this archive is searchable. Thanks

The car is for sale in Holland, with a Heritage Certificate.
It was opal dk green when new. BRG now.
    Built on July 22nd 1961
All numbers match according to the seller with the Certificate in front of him and on the phone with me.

Buyer be aware - the car with almost 100% certainty cannot be matching numbers. The car must be a full recreation but that is in my eyes fine. Only the matching numbers cannot be achieved at all. Here is someone most likely trying to make money by deception as I only bought title and identification plate from a person I knew and who were exporting cars from US to Germany. LAteron as described I sold on title and plate. I still have copies of the original title and the original identification number plate.

BOTH must be there at a purchase. Otherwise everyone based on this information here could have recreated this car.

Think on your own what is the chance to buy first title and plate and than to recover engine and gearbox of this car?

If anyone needs more information on this, I am happy to provide more....
