Current bid $1,575 reserve not met, 4 bids 6 days left in auction. Car now said to be in Springfield, Ohio. 113k miles.

Sellers description:
I am the second owner of this wonderful peice of automotive history, i have owned this car for 7 years and have all the service history for her from the first 3000 mile service onwards , I replaced the tires in 2008 and have done appox. 700 miles on them , the power steering rack was replaced in april 2009 ,new battery in 2008 , headliner was professionally replaced and the car has been regularlly serviced at local british restoration shop , all carbs have been rebuilt and balanced. both front and rear shocks were replaced in 2008 , as you can see all care and maintenance has been addressed since i have owned it. i am selling it due to a third child and no room in the garage anymore due to wifes new van...Who ever wins this car will not be disappointed, there are a few rust spots, it is a good solid driver and has never let me down, it is priced to sell.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
