This 1974 Jaguar E-Type Series III roadster is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it is said to have remained under the care of a single family until the selling dealer’s acquisition in 2023. The car is finished in Silver Gray over burgundy leather, and features include a black soft top, four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, 15” knock-off wire wheels, quadruple carburetors, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, an AM/FM radio, and air conditioning. The starter was replaced and the power steering pump was rebuilt in preparation for the sale. This Series III E-Type is now offered by the selling dealer with a jack, a wheel knock-off tool hammer, a pair of windshield wiper blades, and a clean New York title.

The car is finished in Silver Gray and features a black soft top, uncovered headlights, fog lights, a forward-hinged louvered hood, US-spec bumpers, and a power antenna.

The 15″ wire-spoke wheels are secured with knock-off spinners and are mounted with Pirelli P4000 tires measuring 205/70. The Series III E-Type was factory equipped with power steering, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with inboard-mounted rear rotors. The power steering pump was rebuilt in January 2024.

The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in burgundy leather as well as color-coordinated door panels. Interior amenities include an AM/FM radio, a locking glovebox, and air conditioning.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline. An analog clock along with auxiliary gauges for voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level are mounted in the center stack. The five-digit odometer shows 36k miles, approximately 30 miles of which were added under current ownership.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory equipped with quadruple Zenith-Stromberg carburetors and was rated at 241 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque when new. The oil was changed in December 2023 and the starter was replaced in 2024.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Corrosion is present on underbody components, and there is a hole in the muffler.
