Ebay item3/16/23
Current bid $3,350.01 reserve not met 3 bids 6 days left in auction, seller foreignclassicsoh, 80k miles, Dublin, Ohio.
Seller's description:
We recently acquired this Jaguar E-type from the estate of the original owner who purchased it in 1970, it was owned by the same gentleman for 53 years! We have all of the original sales paperwork, importation paperwork from Europe, title, etc. It was sold new by 'Europe by Car Inc', in New York, York, and spent it's whole life here in Ohio.
The car starts and run, and the motor is strong. We performed a compression test...
Cyl 1: 142
Cyl 2: 150
Cyl 3: 150
Cyl 4: 150
Cyl 5: 150
Cyl 6: 145
Additional work we performed included... new battery, rebuilt Lucas alternator, new voltage regulator, new spark plugs, new belts, engine oil & filter change, change transmission fluid, change differential fluid, change coolant, bleed brakes. We have driven it around our local neighborhood, but it may require additional work to make it "roadworthy", we recommend installing new tires.
There are a lot of service records from early on in the car's life, as well as a couple from the past 10-15 years.
Interior appears to be all original including the radio, although the radio does not work. Underneath has 2 small holes on the driver's floor about the size of a finger (see photos). The convertible soft top does not have any rips or holes.
The car has had an older repaint at some point in it's life, in the original color. I would describe it as a driver quality paint job. Does have imperfections through-out, such as chips, scratches, cracking and bubbling.

Car returns to ebay 10/24/23
Opening bid $39,500 reserve not met 0 bids buy it now price $67,500, 6 days left in auction, seller dcelect10, 80k miles, car now in Hanover, Massachusetts
Seller's description:
1970 Jaguar E-type Roadster in its original, colors of regency red over black interior. I purchased this car in March with the intentions of keeping it as a weekend driver but have since been focusing on another project and need the room. This was a one owner vehicle up until this year. I have all of the original documentation when the car was purchased new including the sales agreements and the original title. Also included is many of the service receipts over the years for the work performed.
The Car is mechanically sound , it starts right up warm or cold with good oil pressure and compression numbers. Brakes and clutch work as the should. Since I've purchased it I have installed new tubes and tires, new brake hoses, new clutch and brake master cylinders, new brake servo, cleaned brake lines, new clutch slave cylinder, repaired parking brake mechanism, changed the fluids and greased the points. The previous owner also did an extensive amount of work earlier this year as well.
The paint is older and shows defects but is still a presentable driver quality look. The interior shows the same way.
I have a clear open title in my name
