For sale is a 1970 Jaguar XK-E convertable roadster by the original owner. This is an original California rust free car and has always been covered. It has the 4.2 6 cylinder engine. The odometer reads 88k miles, but there are about 30k more miles on the car since the odometer did not work for some time in the past. It is fixed now and I have kept all the records from when it was purchased new in 1970. In 2004 it was completely gone through, painted, re-upholstered, mechanically checked over, suspension work was done, basically semi-restored by XKs Unlimited in San Luis Obispo, California. Since then, it has rarely been driven and has been stored covered in an insulated garage. Most of the original parts that were replaced are in storage and are included with the car. Also included is the original toolkit, the shop manual, other Jaguar literature, and a car cover. The car runs and drives excellently. There are only a few minor problems: small oil leak, brakes are soft, the clock does not work (all the other gauges work excellent), and the ignition switch occasionally has problems.
