Vehicle Description: Up for bids is a very clean, matching number, well-maintained 1968 Jaguar E-type 2+2. The car has had 2 previous meticulous owners throughout its carefully driven 88,000 miles. The car is an original California car, never wrecked and no rust. The color is Willow green and it is the original paint job that still has a great luster. The interior consisting of supple black leather is still very soft and has no rips or tears. The headliner is in great shape. The dash is not warped and has its original AM/FM cassette player in the dash. The door and surrounding panels have no rips, tears or distortion. The carpets are in good condition with 2 front premium floor mats with the embroidered Jaguar logo. The glove box has its original owners manual along with the list of the Distributor & Dealers Jaguar dealers in the USA. The car runs and drives very smoothly and shifts effortlessly through all 4 gears. The dual Stromberg carburetors propel this car through its massive 6-cylinder engine with no hesitation. All lights and electrical works well. The cars chrome is very shiny with no dents or dings. The chrome wire wheels with Michelin Red wall tires still have lots of tread left. There are no unusual noises or rattles throughout speeds. This is a very nice original unmolested example of Jaguar engineering, guaranteed to appreciate in value in the coming years.
