The car has has done 73,300 miles and has a fully stamped jaguar service history to 41,875 in 1971. There is a variety of original handbooks and documents from rac and britax etc with the history

The last owner bought the car in sept 1984 and the car has genuinely only covered 1300 miles since then which is supported by various mots and service receipts since then.

The car had a brand new bonnet in 1984 which is still as new.

Original webasto sunroof

The interior is in excellent condition and is complete.

The car was issued with a fresh 12 months mot when it was sold to me as promised.

The car was driven back from Essex with no problems but could do with re commissioning properly as oil leak from rocker cover and I think carbs need balancing etc ………but no nasty noises and or smoke or rattles etc . Gear changes were perfect.

The floor pans are very good the chassis where the rear radius arms and the suspension attaches, the bulk head, the area around and beneath the battery , the front subframe and hinges are all excellent . The bonnet is as new. Door fit is good apart from rear boot door which needs adjusting slightly.

New callipers and bushes have been fitted at the front recently

There is a kenlow fan fitted

The bad bits

The colour was changed to willow green as opposed to the original old English white (cream)

Both sills have been filled and the bottom of both doors have been filled and are presumed to be rotted.

Chrome is generally okay but some of it is lightly pitted . Wheels are sound but lightly pitted.

This car I would say is suited to someone who wants a project and not a car to drive immediately. It will need new sills and door skins for sure and if given a complete refurb and rebuild would produce a very nice original car with some nice early history to support it.

£250 deposit required by pay pal then cash on collection. The car can be viewed Mon – Friday between 9am and 6pm at my work place by prior appointment. Please email or call me on 07834547566 or 01922 745 645
