A delightful example
This left hand drive European specification E-Type was originally registered to a Belgian solicitor on 8th February 1968. The original handbook is present (in French) as is the service book which shows service dates from 1968 through to May 1979. The second owner of this delightful Jaguar was the original owner’s son and the third owner is the current vendor who purchased it in July 2005 from the son directly. Presenting extremely well in metallic grey with contrasting red leather interior, this 4.2 litre E-Type sits proudly on wire wheels. Start the engine and the XK engine runs beautifully with good oil pressure. A detailed service history dating back to 2002 accompanies this Jaguar; clearly this has been a very well cared for and much-loved example. The vendor, when he moved to the UK, brought his pride and joy with him and immediately put the car into professional storage facilities where she has remained since, although the car has been run regularly on private land. Supplied with a NOVA certificate, this example, in arguably the most desirable colour combination, awaits a new custodian for the first time in 16 years and only the fourth in 53 years.
