Car for sale on ebay, seller stpallas058, opening bid £58,000, no bid, 8 days left, Buy It Now price £60,000
www.ebay.fr/itm/282313784538

Seller's description :

NO RESERVE
Up for sale Jaguar E type 1966 roadster with Heritage certificate ( photo attached )
Purchased by the previous owner in 1980
It has the covered headlamps, the toggle switches and the triple SU HD8 carburetters. The original engine (minus the original head) was rebuilt to stock standards, and transmission, suspension and brakes were refurbished. Subsequently, later model 4.2L engine (9:1 Compression w/fuel injection valves) was prepared and installed, together with a new clutch. The cylinder head was prepared by Terry's Jaguar, with hi-lift cams and three-angle cut valve seats, tappet retainers, etc. New seat covers (leather in light gray) and carpets were also installed. The car was driven regularly for some three years and used basically to take the owner's kids to baseball practice and for short jaunts to the local stores. It has been garaged since purchased in 1980 and there are no signs of rust on the body. It was never used during winter months (no traction and no heater!). It also has a high capacity radiator with two electric fans.
The car comes with many extra parts which previous owner acquired during the time of ownership
All in all fantastic project for upcoming year, very fast car that needs some tune up, it can be driven as is or simply turned back to original!
The car will be located in Bayonne docks for shipping in New Jersey convenient to ship anywhere!!

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
