Ebay item 8/24/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-E-Type-convertible-2-door-/122097779498
Current bid US $38,100, no reserve, 4 bids 6 days left in auction, seller tr7guy7552, 47k miles.

Sellers description:
1964 JAGUAR SERIES 1 XK-E OTS
Carmen red on black leather
3.8 Tri-carb engine
All number-matching power train
Rare factory hard top
Very original and complete car that has not run in many years
Car does need complete restoration

Floors and bottom of doors need rust repair, however as a number matching example of the early 3.8 E-types (61-64) as well as its desirable color combination, this jaguar has excellent investment potential

In addition, this car has an interesting McLaren connection

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
